(on the next issue no160 - this was written on the index page: "We have received a number of complaints and anxious queries about the illustration in "Sell Out" last week, in which we printed a picture of a louse 8 1/2 inches long by 3 inches wide, and stated that it was "actual size". This was a joke on the part of the art director, and we sincerely regret the offence we may have caused to any louse, living or dead.")
